Artist Biography
Eric Leon Freeman has drawn and painted all his life.
He is also a poet, photographer, and musician, having released two CDS, written scores of poems and songs--as well as two novels.
Born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 1966, he received a BA in English at Oberlin College in 1989 before moving to New York City, where he made art and fronted a band. In 1993 he moved to Austria, where he lived for three years, splitting his time between Vienna and Arkansas, before returning to New York.
In 2006 Eric established Sultry Headquarters, his studio, in Little Rock. His work is included in the Arkansas Arts Center Collection and many private collections. He is represented by Boswell Mourot Fine Art.
